Here’s my approach to breakfast:

Do you wake up hungry in the morning?
If you do, you should eat.
If you don’t, you shouldn’t.


  • ½ avocado mashed or sliced
  • ½ tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Pinch sea salt + black pepper
  • 1 slice of whole grain bread or gluten-free
  • ½ tsp olive oil
  • Soft egg


  1. In a small bowl combine avocado, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gently mash with a fork
  3. Toast bread
  4. Top toast with avocado mixture
  5. Add soft egg
  6. Drizzle with olive oil
