Intuitive Eating is an exciting trend in the field of weight loss. It is a mental exercise of engaging your brain each time you have food in your mouth. It activates mechanisms within the brain and gut for portion and weight control. The brain controls hunger by producing two hunger hormones ghrelin and leptin. Ghrelin stimulates appetite and leptin is the stop eating or fullness hormone.
The principles of intuitive eating are based on physical hunger and fullness. Eat when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied.
Studies have shown that intuitive eating has demonstrated increased weight loss and improved eating behaviors along with increased self-esteem and physical activity without rigid dietary restrictions.
Session 1: Welcome and Introduction to Intuitive Eating
During our first session together, you will learn what Intuitive Eating is and why it is so important for your weight loss success.
Session 2: Intuitive Eating Practice
During our second session together, you will learn the 3-Step Intuitive Eating Practice and how to practice this every time you eat.
Session 3: Gut Health & Juice Cleanse
During our third session together, you will discover the importance of Gut Health and how this contributes to your weight loss success.
Session 4: Food Combinations for Energy & Meal Plans
During our fourth session together, you will learn which kinds of foods go best together for maximum energy and weight loss success.

Debra McCurtain is the founder and owner of Rocklin Weight Loss. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Transformational Coach and Author of Soul Nutrition.
Debra is a weight loss expert and a graduate UCSF and Integrative Nutrition completing a holistic nutrition coaching program. Her latest endeavor is meditation recently completing coursework with Davidji. Debra enjoys all things fitness whether indoors or outdoors.
